A Home of Peace!            To find Harmony.             To live in Reconciliation.            To die with Dignity.

Shanthi Dham (Abode of Peace) is a Fransalian (Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales) initiative in Mysuru, Karnataka, South India, inspired by the life of Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta, who found Jesus in the distressing disguise of the poorest of the poor and served Him in the poorest of the poor, the unwanted, homeless, orphans, lepers, neglected and unloved people.

Construction of Shanthi Dham began in February 2024, and the Home of Peace was ready for its first residents in 2026.

In a recent NEWSLETTER, Father Swamy wrote:

Your love has made this possible

Every brick in this building, every bed prepared, every future smile and peaceful farewell — they all bear the mark of your love, generosity and sacrifice. You have stood with me and my mission, believing that every human being deserves to be loved, cared for, and honored, especially at the end of life. Thank you for being instruments of God’s mercy, compassion and love.

Please remember that your continued support and assistance remain critical to meet the operational costs of this Home of Peace at the end of life. As you faithfully hold Shanthi Dham in your prayers, we trust in your generous support to care for the basic needs of the dying destitute and the helpless from the streets.
